Music Ministry

Cantors lead the community in song at all Liturgies.  They also proclaim and lead the Responsorial Psalm.  Cantor review sessions are held Thursday evening from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the church. Cantors can choose which review sessions they attend based on their personal and cantoring schedules. Cantors are auditioned and trained by the Music Minister.  In addition to regular weekend liturgies, cantors sing for Holy/Feast Day Masses, funerals, weddings, Triduum and Taize prayer services.

Children & Youth Choir

The St. Ann’s Children and Youth choir is open to boys and girls in 2nd-8th grades who enjoy singing.  The group sits in the choir area of the church and aids in leading the 4:00pm Christmas Eve liturgy as true ministers of music with the music minister and cantor.  Rehearsals are each Sunday after the 11:00 a.m Mass from 12:10pm – 12:40pm in the church beginning in October.

Parish Choir

The Parish Choir is comprised of parishioners (middle school age–adult) willing to share their gift of song to lead, support and enrich our congregational singing during Mass.  They also provide meditations after the Communion Song.  Rehearsals are each Thursday evening from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the church.  Members can choose the Liturgy at which they sing and this may change from week to week.  The Parish Choir also performs a prelude concert before our 8:00 p.m. Christmas Eve Mass, and provides leadership and meditations for Taize services and Triduum.

Parish Instrumentalists

Our instrumentalists enhance our piano and/or organ accompaniment during Mass.  They rehearse Thursday evenings from 7:00-8:30 p.m. alongside the Parish Choir. Members can choose the Mass at which they play and this may change from week to week.  A reasonable proficiency on your instrument is required.

For more information please contact our Music Minister, Matt Brady at or stop by and see him after Mass.
