At St. Ann's, Families with Elementary aged children in grades K- 5 have two options for Christian Formation (CF):

  • Sunday Family CF - Conveniently offered on Sunday mornings in between the two morning Masses - from 9:45am-10:45am.

Sunday Family CF is for parents and their children in grades K-5 (there is an option for 6th graders who have younger siblings to participate at this time as well). Sessions will meet 3-4 times per month. Every session begins with a light breakfast for families in the Parish Hall. During the the first and third sessions of each month the children are dismissed to grade specific classrooms with a trained catechist team while the parents remain in the Parish Hall. Some weeks, parents will have the opportunity for fellowship with each other and other weeks St. Ann's will offer Adult formation with small group discussions around faith topics, parenting, and more. The second and fourth sessions each month will be an opportunity for parents to learn with their chidren as they engage in faith-based activities.. COMING SOON: See the Sunday Morning CF Calendar here.

  • At-Home Elementary CF - a flexible at-home Christian Formation option for families.

Families who who choose the At-Home CF option will be required to send an adult to a parent training. At the training session you will receive all of the materials and instruction you need to lead your family through the lessons and our staff will be a phone call or email away if you have additional questions throughout the year. You will be required to complete three lessons a month with your child, I think you will see that the curriculum which is based upon the Sunday Gospel is a wonderful weekly resource for your family. Each month you will be expected to complete three quick online assessments with your child. These completed assessments will be emailed to Patti Kamper at pattikamper@stannscc.org and will serve as your child's attendance for Christian Formation.
