ST. ANN’S ADVENT ANGEL GIVING TREE
Our Angel Tree is up! Through this wonderful parish tradition, St. Ann’s brings Christmas joy to area children, relief to their parents, and assistance to those in need in our community.
This year, tags from our tree will provide gifts and needed clothing to 73 children in 23 families in Ashland and western Hanover County, and stock the shelves of ACES (Ashland Christian Emergency Services) with 100 items of clothing and household linens. You can also choose to make a financial donation to help ACES, Circles Ashland, Hanover Habitat for Humanity, Hanover Interfaith Clinic, or Hanover Safe Place meet our community’s need for emergency food & clothing, financial security, housing, health care, and freedom from abusive relationships.
To become an angel:
1 - Choose a tag (or two, or three…) from the tree in the commons. All gifts must be returned by Sunday, Dec. 1st. Please attach the tag, and note the instructions for whether it should be wrapped.
2 - No time to shop? Choose an envelope and make a donation to support any one of several local organizations.
